The craziest weekend of the year has come, who is ready to shop as never before? ME, ME, ME.
No, just kidding, I think this time I will try to behave as much as possible, because few months ago I took a kind of environment conscious decision about my closet. I decided to shop much much less, focusing on independent stylists, vintage, buying only clothes to wear straight away and for a long time.
Said so, you understand that the versatility of the garment is the key, like this one from FEMME LUXE, wearable both for a morning stroll and a date night. And if you fancy it, they've got a huge Black Friday sale going on right now: over 100 new dresses for 0.99p!!!
I know it sounds crazy but it's all real, go to check out yourself and thank me later :)
When a start-up fashion brand asks you for a partnership. Sending to YOU, an unknown, trying to be, since 2013 fashion/style (I don't even know the difference) blogger, free clothes from their collection. And checking the website, you notice that they are actually good, a lot Kardashians clan inspired. The only answer possible here was: YES, PLEASE.
So here we are, I'm officially a #luxegirl (wearing a jumpsuit, tee and pants from them on the photos below). And how you can see, I went from a sexy chic outfit to a basic everyday look very easily, that's what I appreciated the most about this brand. Trust me when I tell you I could wear those pants every single day!
To all my ladies, get ready for a big flash sale next week, meanwhile you can already shop on their website because there is a 85% OFF going on right now!
Thanks Femme Luxe UK for the opportunity!!!
I met Tongie and Peter for the first time around one year ago: for them, I was just one of their customers passing by the stand every Sunday morning, for me, they will become my only and favourite shirts suppliers for a long long time.
So that's how this love story started, until it became a collaboration. Yes, two weeks ago I approached my new friends with an idea, their reaction was so unexpected for me!
But let's take a step back... I'm a great fan of Brick Lane area, especially the Brick Lane Market on Sundays: full of lovely merchants and entrepreneurs, artists and independent stylists, food from every corner of the Earth. It's people's happy place, it's my happy place, from where I get most of my inspiration (and where I find unique pieces for my wardrobe).
Tongie and Peter's shirts stand is few steps from the start of the road. So, they sell these amazing vintage shirts: Tongie, a Thailandese woman with a great fashion taste, chooses prints and style herself, they are recycled fabrics from Japan. And obviously, every shirt is unique, no one else will have the same. Peter is a lovely English man, always ready for a good chat and laughs even when he's quite busy.
That's why I really want people to know them, and to make this happen we decided for this partnership for my readers' benefit. What does it involve? Very simple rules:
1. Follow @pasttimeschic on Instagram
2. Comment this post either on my blog or on my Instagram page (@lablanchenoire)
3. Go to visit my friends at their Brick Lane stand, or if it's too far for you, you can find them also at Notting Hill Market on Friday (pitch nr. 148a, under the bridge, near Green Market) and Saturday (pitch nr. 170, vintage end); they also ship to UK and Worlwide.
Tell them that I sent you, and you'll have the opportunity to shop an entire outfit (a shirt+culottes) for only £25.
4. Thank me later :)

Ohohoh what a shame! 6 months without posting anything here... I know, I'm not your average blogger but I've got a good explanation for that!
Let's start with "how are you guys?", and then, "have you missed me?"
As far as I'm concerned, actually I'm doing very well (we will have time to deepen the topic)!
Now, moving on to the most important things... What I have done in this period that I haven't posted?
I've been working a lot, at my real job but also on improving the blog (maybe you have already noticed that the layout has changed and I'm writing in English).
I've been committed to deciding which direction take both with my blog and my social medias, what kind of blogger I want to be and become.
However, I won't reveal you everything in this post, sooo... STAY TUNED!!!
